Face Recognition is a computer application that is capable of detecting, tracking, identifying or verifying human faces from an image or video captured using a digital camera. Although lot of progress has been made in domain of face detection and recognition for security, identification and attendance purpose, but still there are issues hindering the progress to reach or surpass human level accuracy.

Sign language is the preferred method of communication among the deaf and the hearing impaired people all over the world. Recognition of sign language can have varying degree of success when used in a computer vision or any other methods. Sign language is said to have a structured set of gestures in which each gesture is having a specific meaning.

Speech recognition is the process of converting audio into text. This is commonly used in voice assistants like Alexa, Siri, etc. Python provides an API called SpeechRecognition to allow us to convert audio into text for further processing. In this article, we will look at converting large or long audio files into text using the SpeechRecognition API in python.
